Tasks

The HV-Battery Function Coordinator, coordinates the integration of the software functions into the BMU (Battery Management Unit) in cooperation with the function development team according to aligned project milestones. He/she ensures that the requested function maturity is reached according to the project development plan by steering the function development plan, function calibration planning and in case of a maturity mismatch, derives counter measures. Furthermore he/she is responsible for the BMU software function release as part of the overall HV-Battery release.

Key Responsibilities

o Responsible for the completeness of the project specific functional requirement list (e.g. requirement acceptance, requirement reviews, requirement confirmation, implementation of new requirements, etc.) together with the Requirement-Manager

o Planning and alignment of the BMU function (software) integration timeline in cooperation with the function development team and the project team

o Coordination and steering of the BMU function implementation and calibration according to the aligned project timeline

o Responsibility to ensure that the aligned maturity level of the BMU software functions is achieved for each software release according to the target maturity level and project plan

o Definition and alignment of counter measures in case of a mismatch between actual and planned BMU function maturity in alignment with process partners like function developers and project team

o Requests the maturity level status from function validation test-manager for each software release in order to judge the achieved maturity of the function. Makes based on it the function release recommendation

o Provide function release recommendation to the HV-Battery project leader with existing restrictions respectively information about functional issues and their customer impact

o Interface of the HV-Battery function development team to the project team, the vehicle and HV-Battery production plant and other development departments

o Participate in problem management processes (e.g. root cause analysis, steering of solution implementation, tracking of issues, status reporting). Serves as first contact in case of issues

o Support for root cause analysis of HV-Battery related quality issues at production (HVB
